Reading Narrah's Bible

I have started reading the Bible which belonged to my great-grandmother, Narrah, (Mrs. E. J. Spicer).  She had an inscription in the front page where she listed the  verses she wanted to have at her funeral.  Psalm 27, verses 1, 4, 9, 13 and 14.

Between pages 12 and 13 (Genesis 8 and 9), I found a small (newspaper or magazine) clipping.  On the clipping is the following poem:

When I am old,
I shall not mind
The whiteness of my hair,
Or that my slow steps falter
On the stair,
Or that young friends hurry
As they pass,
Or what strange image
Greets me in the glass --
If I can feel
As roots feel in the sod,
That I am growing old to bloom
Before the face of God!

I know there are more clippings tucked away inside this Bible.  I wonder what they will be?  Her Bible has no copyright date that I can see but the inscription is from Mother's Day 1941. It was a gift from her three sons, the youngest of whom was my grandfather.  I do not remember Narrah, she died when I was only three.

I'm looking forward to reading Narrah's Bible.
